- The number that isn't what it says. The big “call now” link displays (702) 555-0188 but actually dials (702) 555-0143. ContactTap lists the number that would really be dialed, flags that row, and drops the displayed one entirely — it was only there to be believed.
- The details you can't see. A phone number and email are hidden in this page's markup, invisible to you but readable by software. ContactTap ignores them and tells you it did.
- The expensive line. The “premium support” number is a premium-rate line — calls cost extra. ContactTap marks it when it can identify the number type.
- And the ones it stays quiet about. The service department number and the address carry no warning at all. A tool that cried wolf on everything would be useless — and note that a “service center” that turns out to be a van in a park parking lot is exactly the kind of thing ContactTap won't flag. It reports what a page says; judging whether that adds up is yours to do.
ContactTap can only report what a page contains — it can't tell you whether a business is real. Treat the warnings as a prompt to check, not a verdict. When money, accounts, or “support” are involved, look the company up independently.
